S is for Sea World

On this past Sunday, my hubby and I decided to take a road trip to San Antonio to visit Sea World for the first time. It was something that we have wanted to experience since we moved to Texas. Since we had to pass it on our route back home from Houston, we decided to make a date of it. Sea World was offering an awesome deal on tickets as well so we figured now would be a great time to visit the theme park. We decided to buy the fun pass so we will be able to go to Sea World whenever we want from now through Dec 2014 without having to pay the price of admission again. Can you say #winning?! That pass will come in very handy especially since we were not able to visit all the attractions that day.

I loved that the park was not overly crowded. We were able to navigate the park with ease which made our date very enjoyable. The animals at Sea World are so smart! It’s amazing how much they could do. All of the mammals seemed to love performing. I think my favorite attraction featured the sea lions. They had so much personality. Here is a peek into our day with the sea creatures.

This photo captured my favorite moment in the show. The walrus was doing sit-ups! How amazing is that?

This guy was pretty fearless. He did all sorts of crazy stunts while diving from different areas of the stage. He even dived from the rafters!

We ended our fun day at Sea World with funnel cakes! As soon as I smelled them cooking, I knew I had to have one. I have such a sweet tooth. Somebody pray for me because I am seriously addicted to pastries! Anyway, they were huge and we couldn’t even get half way through them. That was probably a good thing. I am sure my hips and belly appreciated that I failed at that challenge.

After we left Sea World, we picked up dinner from Ruby Tuesday before heading back home. Overall it was a good date! We will definitely be returning soon. So where would you go for a date beginning with the letter “S”?
