4 Travelers to Follow on Instagram

What’s almost as exciting as taking a vacation? Browsing through thousands of unique photos captured by travelers around the world during their vacations! There are so many travel related accounts on Instagram. I follow too many to count. They are without a doubt my favorite accounts to stalk scroll through early in the morning before hopping out of bed. It’s something about seeing the world from another person’s point of view that intrigues me. I find the photos and the related stories so inspirational. I love visualizing different cultures, foods, fashion, and architecture from around the globe. Here is a list of 4 Instagram travelers you should be following (if you aren’t already!) I turn to these accounts in cases of severe vacation withdrawal aka everyday.

I love this account because the photography is beyond amazing. I love it even more because the account focuses on Black travelers. It’s nice to see people who look like me exploring the world while breaking barriers and negative stereotypes in the process. Their excursions give me hope and motivation to work towards fulfilling my lifelong dream of traveling the world!

The Balloon Diary by Anna Dawson

I love Anna’s account because it has an interesting concept. She takes a photo with a pink balloon wherever she travels. It’s cool to see where she and the balloon will end up next. To top it off, she lives in Paris! I find myself frequently getting lost in the exquisite French architecture highlighted in her photos. It seems as though she finds the most beautiful places in France and beyond to share.

I love the Spirited Pursuit’s Instagram page because Lee takes magnificent photographs. Through her lens, she is able to capture beautiful people in their element and share their stories during her excursions around the globe.

Dame Traveler by Nastasia

The Dame Traveler is another swoon worthy account. It primarily focuses on women travelers from around the world. It is one of the many accounts that has inspired my desire to embark on some solo travel journeys in the future. The women that Nastasia shares on this collective travel account are fearless. They prove that you can travel the globe safely as a woman and have a blast while making it happen.
