I was super excited to decorate for the holidays this year. Traditionally, I wait until Black Friday to decorate for the season but my husband felt that we needed to expedite the holiday cheer this year. I definitely agreed because 2020. Enough said.
I have been gravitating towards very earthy pieces as of late so it was inevitable that I would opt for a rustic theme using elements like burlap, wood, lotus pods, and baby’s breath when decorating my main living space. I had a lot of these pieces in my stash so this design style was very budget friendly.
I decided to spice up the family room with hints of teal and navy blue for a more contemporary vibe to mesh well with the existing decor. Lastly, I opted for pops of red and black in the kitchen as I did last year. I feel that the red and black really work well with the pale yellow cabinetry. There are all types of Christmas trees throughout the entire space. Can you guess how many? You can check out my holiday home tour on YouTube now.
How did you decorate your space this year? Let me know in the comments below. Also, if you counted a total of 20 trees of all sizes in the main areas , you are correct!
