It’s that time of year when people start making resolutions for the new year. You know the weight loss resolution, the “I’m going to be a better person” resolution, the “it looks good on paper” resolution, the “it sounds really good when I say it” resolution and so on and so forth. Usually by March all those so called resolutions are somewhere out in a galaxy far far away and people resume their old habits. I decided a few years ago that I would not torture myself with the whole resolution idea. I would much rather set realistic goals for myself to reach by the end of the year. This year I decided to make things a little interesting by embedding my goals for 2013 here in cyberspace for everyone to see. I figured it would provide a little added motivation for me to work hard to attain them. They are extremely random but still personal goals nonetheless!
Once I got started writing my goals it seems that I couldn’t stop. My ultimate goal for next year is to live my life without regret. There are things that I have dreamed of doing for so long and I have been putting it off to try to wait on the “right time”. As I get older I realize that the right time is the present. You never know what the future may hold. So while I have a dream, talent, time, health and energy I am going to work really hard to make my dreams come true. As you can see, I have a lot to accomplish for 2013. As long as I have faith, I believe that I will be able to do all of this plus more. So do you have any goals for 2013? I would love to read about them!
Until next post, Brittany

Thanks Breige! Happy holidays!
My goals in 2013 are to finish graduate school by the grace of God (1 1/2 more classes to go!) spend more time with The Lord and read his word more. Sometimes work and family responsibilities cause me to neglect him but I need him everyday and in all areas of my life!
You can do it! I agree we need Him in every aspect of our lives!
