I love to travel but it has its pros and cons. Admittedly I am a very picky traveler when it comes to hotel accommodations. I don’t really like the idea of sleeping in a bed that hundreds of other people have “slept in” and especially don’t like the fact that many people have used the same bathroom that I will be using. My husband always teases that I have to stay at the Taj Mahal of hotels in order to be satisfied. I beg to differ though. The only thing I really require is cleanliness, great customer service, close proximity to restaurants, shops, transportation, etc. Is that too much to ask? I read reviews on TripAdvisor before I book my hotel accommodations. Fortunately, this has helped me on most occasions but I have also had some experiences that made me cringe at even the thought of returning to a hotel.
My friends and family love for me to help them with their travel arrangements because they know that I am going to be critical. They have ended up staying at awesome hotels due to my reviews + my research skills. Since it’s summer- the most travelled season- I have decided that I would like to dedicate a section of my blog to hotel reviews.
I will share with you the good, the bad, and the ugly from hotels that we have stayed at during our travels. I will try to include pictures of the hotel rooms as well. I usually travel with my husband so most of my reviews will most likely be geared towards couples and/or young travelers without children rather than families. Hopefully my reviews may be helpful when booking your lodging accommodations in the future. Be on the lookout for this series under the travel tab throughout the summer.
Until next post,
Wow, looking forward to read them! I have never been to a major travel getaway this year, but is still hoping to have one before the year ends.
I really do like hotel reviews and basically anything about travel. I look forward to your posts.
