I am grateful that I woke up this morning! Some people didn’t get the privilege and I don’t take it lightly. Everyday that we get to spend on God’s green earth is a blessing. It’s seems like every month this year I have heard about old classmates and childhood friends from my hometown losing their lives in senseless ways. Gang violence and fatal car accidents is at an all time high in that area. I just keep praying for safety for my friends and family and praying for comfort and strength for the families who have lost their loved ones. If you are reading this post, you should also be grateful for the privilege.
On a lighter note I am also grateful that we got an extra hr to sleep in this morning!! It was definitely needed.
What are you grateful for today?
I am grateful for living and being given the gift of life. Life is so easily taken away, sometimes too quickly at young ages. I’m glad I can live my life and though I am always trying to improve myself, I still feel happy in life wherever I am.
