For the month of February, the Thrift It! Clique decided to create a photo shoot that focused on styling outfits from thrifted pieces in our wardrobe that we would either wear on a day date or for date night. We got our spouses and significant others to get in on the action as well. We took some cute shots. I had the most fun just hanging out with the couples and getting to know each other better at a cute restaurant called Cafe Brown Sugar in Carrollton, Texas.

I was literally having a “I have nothing to wear” moment the day before so I ended up resorting to all black with red accents. Here is my full date night look. I thrifted this turtleneck sweater for less than $2.00! Its such a wardrobe staple that can be paired with pretty much anything. I decided to pair it with a black skirt for a monochromatic look. My outfit is very basic with a little dash of Parisian chic.
This cute cat beret gifted from Adorned by Chi was my inspiration.
