I usually love wearing maxi dresses and wedges during the summer but Summer 2013 has been extremely different! I decided to step out of my drab comfort zone and try on a new look for a change- tailored shorts! I must admit I really do like the look and comfort of wearing shorts during the hot summer months. I have tried to steer clear from shorter shorts throughout my 20s for fear that my all of my imperfections would be on display. This year, I threw caution to the wind and decided to embrace my big beautiful legs with scars and all. I am learning not to take myself so seriously these days. I guess that is a lesson that comes along with age.

Until next post,
