Photo Shoot at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth

“I’m a sucker for cornrows and manicured toes”- Nelly

But toes are pedicured Nelly.. so there’s that.

I can relate to Nelly’s love of beautiful things.  I may not be a sucker for cornrows and manicured toes but I am a sucker for beautiful architecture. Clean lines, geometric shapes, and the unconventional use of materials really appeals to me. That is exactly what intrigued me to visit the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth last week. The exhibits looked interesting and I figured it would be the perfect backdrop for a style photo shoot. It did not disappoint! The outside landscape and architecture was beautiful and the exhibits inside were equally as stunning. My awesome friend KT was nice enough to volunteer to be my photographer for the day. I must say she is pretty talented! I enjoyed working with her and exploring the exhibits at the Modern. Here are a few of my favorite photos from our day.image

If you are ever in the Fort Worth area, be sure to check out the Modern in Downtown Fort Worth. If you go on Wednesdays it’s $5 for adults, $1 for students, and children under 12 enter free. Sundays are free in 2015. I plan to return soon to check out the restaurant, Cafe Modern.

Hope you guys have a wonderful day!

PS. Be sure to check me out on the app Periscope (@creativityarise) for behind the scene look at photo shoots, travel, and other blogger related/ random adventures.

Stay inspired,

Great museum outfit! I love seeing what art pieces are in their collection. Dallas is close enough for a day trip.
