I am so grateful to God for my grandmother Marie!! She has been one of the most influential people in my life and I love her dearly. She has been there for me through all my life’s ups and downs. She gave me tough love when necessary and has always been someone I can lean and depend on throughout my lifetime.
I am also grateful to God for modern day technology such as FaceTime. I am able to use it to chat with my very ill grandmother for a few minutes a day. Although our conversations seem to be getting shorter and shorter, I will always cherish the fact that I get to at least see her smiling face when I can’t physically be there to encourage her through the last phases of her illness.
As far as I am concerned my granny is a soldier. She has lived longer than the doctors projected over 2 yrs to be exact. She is so strong and courageous. She is also very kindhearted. She would give a stranger the shirt off her back. Even though she is sick she keeps trying to make sure everyone else is ok instead of focusing on herself. I love her to pieces and will surely miss her when she departs this life. I wouldn’t trade her for anything in this world. I will cherish our memories together forever.
What are you grateful for today?
I am so glad your granny is okay! That can be pretty scary when you just never know. She must be a super strong lady which is fantastic. I’m grateful she’s okay. One more amazing life is worth saving .x
