Heart Shaped Smoked Salmon Appetizer (serves 8-12)
* ½ Cup light cream cheese
* 8-12 Slices Rye bread
* 1 package of smoked salmon
* Fresh dill
* 2 Small heart-shaped cookie cutters
Step 1: Lay rye bread flat on a cutting board and press down two heart cookie cutters side by side. You can also use pumpernickel bread. Trader Joe’s has small square pieces of pumpernickel and rye, which makes the process a little easier.
Step 2: Remove excess bread and place to the side. Do this for the next 7-11 slices.
Next, spread cream cheese on each heart cut out.
Step 4: Place small pieces of smoked salmon on each piece of bread.
Lastly,Garnish with fresh dill.
Serve with your favorite drink and enjoy!!
