For the letter B in the ABC Date Night Challenge, my husband and I decided to go to a major league baseball game! Our team, the Texas Rangers, was playing at home against the Minnesota Twins! I actually bought the tickets to this game as a birthday gift for my husband back in May. The timing seemed perfect since we were headed to Dallas for MegaFest anyway. If I had known that it was going to be 102 degrees outside during the time of the baseball game, I am sure I would have reconsidered the purchase! Thank God that I bought seats in the shade! I really felt sorry for the fans who were sitting directly in the sun. It was very hot and at one point we found ourselves getting lethargic due to the heat. Even though we sweat like crazy for 2.5 hours and paid an astronomical price for drinks and frozen ices to stay cool, we still had a great time. We enjoy spending time together so we made the most of the situation. In the future I would probably go to a night game instead!
Our dates so far have been very far different from the usual and I love it! Can’t wait to share them all with you! So tell me where would you go for a “B” date?
